Decult is back – with a special offer for our sceptical friends!
New Zealand’s award-winning cult awareness conference, DECULT 2026 “Voices of Courage: Pathways to healing and justice”, is happening over Labour Weekend from 24 – 25 October at Christchurch Town Hall and online (live streamed). The inaugural event in 2024 sold out, and was a huge success that changed many people’s lives. Here’s what to expect from this year’s event:
- 50+ local and international speakers
- keynotes from US expert and cult therapist Rachel Bernstein and cult buster Dr Christine Marie (from the Netflix doco “Trust Me: The False Prophet”)
- Experts and survivors with lived experience from Gloriavale, Destiny Church, Centrepoint, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Revival churches, 2x2s (The Truth), Pentecostal, Exclusive Brethren (PBCC), Mormons (LDS), Unification Church (Moonies), Equippers church, Sons of The Most Holy Redeemer (Transalpine Redemptorists), Falun Gong and other spiritual groups.
- All 30+ sessions are recorded for ticket holders to watch later.
Decult 2026 offers one-day tickets too, and concessions for students, CSC and Gold Card holders. We are proudly supporting the event with a special offer: Bring a friend for free and book two tickets for the price of one by using the access code FRIENDS to unlock this offer. And, if you’re a cult survivor who can’t afford a ticket, please get in touch with Decult directly. They’re happy to help with scholarships through donations they’ve raised.
