Conference - November 24-26th
Craig Shearer (May 29, 2023)
As many readers will know, NZ Skeptics hold an annual conference. We hold these in various locations around the country, and this year we're holding it in Dunedin.
The dates will be November 24th - 26th, starting on Friday night with a fun social event, followed by informative, educational, and fun talks and activities throughout the weekend.
We're still in the organising stages, but can now confirm that we've booked the fabulous Toitá¿¡ - Otago Settlers Museum as the venue.
If you've not been to one of our conferences before, you should know that they're a lot of fun, and a great way to spend time with like-minded people with an interest in science and how we can improve life through a skeptical worldview.
We've not got the website up and running yet, but plan to get that happening in the next few weeks. And while we've not set the final ticket prices, we have a reputation for running conferences which are extremely good value.
If you're wanting to come, now would be a good time to start looking at getting there and thinking about where you're going to stay.
Watch this space - we look forward to running an amazing weekend in November.
