Pharmacy project
Craig Shearer - 27th June 2022
NZ Skeptics has been running a project that investigates products sold in pharmacies that are based on pseudoscience - you know the sort of stuff - homeopathy, and various herbal remedies with scant evidence of efficacy.
At this stage we’re seeking further help from people. We’re looking for a lawyer who can advise regarding the law around ownership of pharmacies, and we’re looking for a pharmacist who can advise us on the best practices for pharmacists and pharmacy staff.
We also need more helpers for the project:
-
Medical people that we could quote in the media.
-
Media advisor - help with strategy.
-
Science advisor - someone we can rely on for advice.
-
Anyone with free time
If you’d like to help out in any capacity, please let us know - newsletter@skeptics.nz
